Improbable Machines

Improbable Machines resulted from Cy DeCosse's whimsical mind retaliating for his complete lack of mechanical skills. Having discovered a box of old miscellaneous machinery parts and computer junk, he created and photographed a series of machines that served no purpose other than offering interesting shapes and movements. He then chose master printer Keith Taylor to finish this series in the gritty industrial-looking process of photogravure.
